Hextra is an offline time-bank manager for tracking employee overtime hours. It is designed to be private by default. All information you enter stays on your device. We do not operate any servers, and we have no way to access, view, or collect your data.
None. Hextra does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information with us or any third party. There are no analytics, no trackers, and no advertising.
The data you create inside the app — such as employee names, overtime and time-off entries, notes, and app settings — is stored only on your device.
Your records are kept in a local database on your phone. They never leave your device unless you explicitly export a backup or a report and choose to share it yourself.
If you use Hextra to record information about other people (for example, employees), you are the party responsible for that information. Because the data stays on your device, you are responsible for keeping your device and any exported files secure, and for complying with any applicable data-protection laws (such as the GDPR) that may apply to you as an employer.
Hextra offers an optional app lock that can use your device's biometric authentication (fingerprint or face). This is handled entirely by your device's operating system. Hextra never receives, sees, or stores your biometric data.
Hextra can show optional local reminders (for example, to make a backup). These notifications are generated on your device. No information is sent anywhere to deliver them.
When you export a backup or generate a PDF/spreadsheet report, a file is created at the location you choose. That file may contain your records in readable form. You are responsible for storing and sharing those files safely. Hextra does not upload them anywhere.
Hextra only requests file access when you explicitly export or import a backup or report, and notification permission if you enable reminders. No other device permissions are required.
Hextra is a workplace productivity tool and is not directed at children.
